Taylor and Jordan’s wedding at Litchfield by the Beach in Pawleys Island was one of those weddings that really fills you up- the authenticity. Super relaxed, full of love, and one of the best parts was their adorable daughter, Sully being there throughout the entire day.
Their wedding had such a fun, easygoing vibe—nothing overly formal, just a beautiful celebration with their closest people in one of the most gorgeous coastal spots around. When they say rain is good luck on your wedding day- they would use a day like this as proof.
The ceremony was inside from the rain, but had a gorgeous few of the coast. Taylor looked absolutely stunning walking down the aisle, and Jordan was clearly not holding back a few tears as he watched her. It was one of those moments that just felt right—simple, emotional, and surrounded by the best people in their lives.
And then there was Sully. She was the star of the show in the best way possible. Whether she was smiling as her grandma or being snuggled by mom and dad, she brought such a sweet, joyful energy to the whole day. Some of my favorite photos are of Sully in her white flower girl dress, laughing and soaking it all in. You could just feel how much love there is between all of their friends and family.
After the ceremony, we wandered the beach for some golden hour portraits, and wow—the light was dreamy. It had rained all day and managed to stop right before the sun went down- the lighting was cool and the sky was purple. Absolutely STUNNING! Taylor and Jordan were naturals in front of the camera, just doing their thing and enjoying the moment. Nothing posed or forced, just real connection and easy-going vibes.
The reception at the Beach Club was a total blast. Think 90s throwbacks, great food, and a lot of dancing. Everyone had a drink in hand, laughing and dancing overlooking the water. It didn’t feel like a traditional wedding reception—it felt like the best beach party with the best reason to celebrate.
Taylor and Jordan’s day was all about love, family, and being present. It wasn’t overly planned or rigid—it was real. And those are always the weddings that stick with me the most.
Taylor, Jordan, and sweet little Sully—thank you for letting me be part of your day. It was beautiful, and I’m so glad I got to capture it for you. Cheers to the three of you and all the adventures ahead!
XO,
Emily McPartland
